Professor Mohammad Ismail, PhD
Professor Mohammad Ismail, PhD, brings over two decades of distinguished academic, research, and executive leadership experience to our institution as a faculty member and adviser. A former Vice Chancellor of Noakhali Science and Technology University and a current Professor of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering at the University of Dhaka, Dr. Ismail is a globally recognized expert in energy, environmental sustainability, and climate change management. He earned his PhD and completed his postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Cambridge, UK. Dr. Ismail’s extensive leadership portfolio includes managing 25 high-impact national and international research projects, publishing over 60 peer-reviewed articles, and serving as Director for prominent organizations like BDREN and RPGCL. An active consultant for the World Bank, UNDP, and ADB, his expertise bridges the gap between complex science and strategic execution. His deep commitment to collaborative research and university-industry alliances will invaluable guide our mission in shaping the next generation of global leaders.
Tenemba Anna Samake
Tenemba Anna Samake is a visionary executive with over two decades of experience, Ms. Samake is a recognized expert in entrepreneurship development, impact investing, and SME capacity building across Africa. Currently, she serves as CEO of MBC Africa and Director of ShEquity and the ShEquity Business Accelerator (SHEBA), where she empowers female entrepreneurs through innovative capital and technical support. Her distinguished career includes leadership roles as the Chairperson of the ANDE West Africa Steering Committee and as a founding member of Impact Investing Ghana. Throughout her tenure, she has accelerated over 500 agribusinesses and advised governments on SME policy.
Dr. Mohammad Amran Hossain
Dr. Mohammad Amran Hossain is a distinguished Professor of Political Science. He brings nearly three decades of teaching, research, and academic leadership experience. Dr. Hossain earned his PhD from the University of Sheffield, UK, and holds an M.Phil from the University of Bergen, Norway. An acclaimed scholar, he has authored numerous books covering research design, ethics, governance, and public policy. His global perspective is enriched by prestigious honors, including the Asia Leadership Fellow Program in Japan and the International Visitor Leadership Program in the USA.
Mr. Md. Jahir Uddin
Mr. Md. Jahir Uddin is a visionary leadership mentor and distinguished finance professional with over 26 years of profound industry experience. Currently serving as the First Vice President at Citizens Bank, he is an M.Phil. in Management and a qualified Chartered Accountant. Beyond his corporate success, Mr. Jahir has dedicated his life to shaping future leaders. As a renowned motivational speaker and guest faculty at premier universities like NSU, AIUB, and EWU, he imparts vital expertise in leadership and management. A passionate community builder, he serves as an Adviser to various educational institutions, fitness communities, and Toastmasters, and is the Ex-President of the Rotary Club of Megacity, inspiring transformation worldwide.
Professor Afsana Pervin
Afsana Pervin is an accomplished professional with a strong background in human resource management. With nearly two decades of experience in the banking sector, she served as Vice President of a reputed bank, where she developed extensive expertise in organizational leadership, team development, and strategic decision-making. She is currently contributing to the human resources function of an automobile company in the United States. Her diverse professional journey has equipped her with valuable insights into leadership, workplace excellence, and human capital development.
Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam
Dr. Mohammad Rafiqul Islam is a distinguished academic, polyglot, and global relations expert specializing in language diplomacy and international investment. He holds a PhD in International Relations and completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship at Wuhan University of Technology. Dr. Islam possesses over twenty years of profound expertise in Chinese and Korean languages. Beyond academia, he is an accomplished author of several books and a premier consultant who bridges international investors with national opportunities. A passionate leader, he also provides high-motivation training to empower and uplift individuals with special needs.
Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin
Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin is a distinguished Professor of Psychology. With nearly three decades of academic excellence, he has significantly advanced psychological sciences in Bangladesh. Dr. Kamal earned his PhD from Kyushu University, Japan, under the prestigious Monbukagakusho Scholarship, graduating First Class First during his studies. An expert in behavioral, developmental, and social psychology, his international collaborations include extensive work with the University of Connecticut, USA. At Leadership University, his profound insights into human behavior and mental structures will be instrumental in developing vision-driven, ethically grounded leaders.
Ma Guangpeng
Ma Guangpeng joins the Leadership University faculty as a Senior Academic Consultant and Leadership Educator. He brings fifteen years of distinguished marketing management and executive experience from China's dynamic corporate sector. Mr. Ma currently serves as the Vice President of Tunghsu Equipment Marketing Group, a well-known listed company in China. Demonstrating versatile corporate leadership, he simultaneously holds the positions of General Manager at Beijing Yipai Technology Co. Ltd. and General Manager at Zhongbao Janshin (Henan) International Trading Co. Ltd. At Leadership University, his extensive practical expertise in international trading, corporate strategy, and marketing management will be invaluable in cultivating the strategic mindsets of future global leaders.
Dr. Md. Mahabbat Hossain, CIPA, CSAA, DIB
Dr. Md. Mahabbat Hossain, CIPA, CSAA, DIB, brings over 20 years of distinguished experience in teaching, training, and research to our institution as a core faculty member and adviser. An acclaimed authority in Islamic banking and finance, Dr. Hossain serves as an Associate Professor at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM). He holds a PhD in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Rajshahi and a Diploma in Islamic Banking from London, UK. Dr. Hossain’s extensive leadership portfolio includes advising the Central Shariah Board for Islamic Banks of Bangladesh (CSBIB) and serving as a financial inclusion expert for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). A prolific scholar with over 90 published research articles and multiple books, he is also the founder of the Bangladeshi AAOIFI Fellows Forum (BAFF). His deep expertise in ethical finance and institutional governance will greatly enrich our mission to develop visionary global leaders.
Shariar Pavel
Shariar Pavel is an accomplished executive, strategic thinker, and seasoned educator who brings over 18 years of global leadership experience to our faculty. Currently serving as the Chief Experience Officer at Huawei Consumer Business Group, Shariar has built a distinguished career managing complex international operations across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa regions for industry leaders such as Huawei, Microsoft, and Nokia. A recognized authority in Customer Experience (CX) excellence, Shariar has been named one of the top 25 leaders in the META region for his contributions to the field. His professional practice focuses on driving innovation within B2B and B2C markets, with specialized expertise in developing integrated ecosystems across IoT, IOV, and cloud platforms.
Hawa Dramé
Hawa Dramé is a distinguished leader whose career bridges science, public health, and social innovation. With an academic foundation in biology, biochemistry, and genetics from universities in Abidjan and France, she has applied her expertise to global health challenges and institutional development for decades. Her professional journey includes significant roles at the French Association against Muscular Dystrophies (AFM), the Alliance for Rare Diseases, and EURORDIS, where she specialized in clinical trials, pharmaceutical development, and institutional mechanisms. In 2003, she founded the Tierno and Mariam International Foundation (FITIMA) to advance disability support, rehabilitation, and inclusive education across West Africa. Her commitment to social change is further evidenced by her work with the United Nations, her role as a UNDP-appointed facilitator for social and political dialogue in Guinea, and her establishment of the first Higher Institute of Rehabilitation (ISR) in Guinea. Dramé holds numerous honors, including the Franco-German Human Rights Award and being named a 2024 Guinean Personality of the Year.
